General Inquiries
We act as the middleman between buyers and sellers. Sometimes suppliers can not meet a buyer’s needs, or a supplier has too much raw material to manage. We connect businesses with vetted buyers and processing facilities, ensuring as little recycling goes to waste as possible.
Some people believe all waste is equal and that the efficiency of recycling is a myth made up by the government. The truth is that less than 10% of plastic is recycled. But don’t be discouraged: every bit helps. As new processes emerge, we hope this number drastically
improves in the near future.
The first thing you should do is figure out how much of your waste is actually recyclable. Next, calculate your regular monthly output, give or take, and build a system accordingly. You also have to keep in mind that recycling needs to be sorted properly, and you should clean your plastics to prevent contamination.
If items are placed in the wrong bin, then everything gets mixed up and contaminated. If raw recycled material arrives at the recycling facility and plastics are mixed up, they can damage the equipment. Also, putting materials in the proper bins prevents contamination and safety hazards for workers.
For Buyers
This depends on your location and what logistic companies we are working with at the time.
Before we ask you to commit to anything, we figure out a timeline that works. Once we know how long it will take to procure and deliver your materials, we let you know.
We find businesses with an excess of recycling that need someone to take it off their hands. We do this by marketing our businesses, consistent outreach, word-of-mouth connections, actively staying involved in the recycling industry, and making new partnerships.
In many cases, recycled materials—such as paper, cardboard, and certain plastics—can be more cost-effective than virgin materials due to lower processing and raw material costs. Sometimes, the government offers incentives for businesses to use recycled material. Even if you have to pay slightly more compared to virgin materials, the incentive could make it worth your while.
We try to keep our prices consistent for our loyal customers, but prices go up and down regularly in the recycling service industry, and we need to change with the market. We are willing to negotiate, as long as the price is fair and makes sense for everyone.
For Sellers
We have a large facility and have handled thousands of tons of recycled material, but our needs are not unlimited. It depends on who our buyers are at the time and the type of materials you are selling. For example, during certain seasons, some clients may require almost twice as much waste paper as they would during a different time of the year.
Our business focuses solely on waste paper and plastic scrap, which means we are interested in buying:
– OCC (cardboard)
– Mixed paper
– Plastics (PET, HDPE, LDPE)
– Scrap materials (depending on volume and quality)
Yes, depending on the type of material. For us to arrange a pickup and handle the materials, it has to be worth our time and make sense for our business. The distance, overhead on logistics, and time we have to work with the material all play a factor in the minimum amount we are willing to buy.
As a licensed recycling broker with a reputable name, living up to our word is everything. We have never had payment issues on our end, but if you feel you need to use a contract, we are willing to discuss a payment plan that works for you.
